Amir Sanchez
Amir is the pragmatic, socially awkward “lone-wolf” in his department who always delivers. He doesn’t pull any punches, but struggles to keep that same honesty with himself, especially about what he wants from all of this. He’s a closet geek, big on sweets, and a fan of the cooking channel. He loves his mama and hopes to help her retire early someday. His strict routines and difficulty letting people in past a surface level are challenged each day by Mike’s persistence.
Michael "Mike" Lawrence
Mike, Amir’s coworker and across-the-hall neighbor, is the loud, confident golden boy of their department. He brings energy wherever he goes and tries to be a source of positivity, even when he’s not at his best. He enjoys horror movies, cheap beer, and rarely spends time in his own apartment. He's an uncle to his two nieces, and spoils them rotten. He and Amir have this "unspoken thing" going on that's spoken to everyone but them.
Vivian Yu
Vivian is both Amir and Mike’s department manager and is closer to Amir due to their daily smoke breaks. She's not just someone who gives advice that goes over their heads, but the glue that holds the department together. She has a reputation for being strict and sometimes abrasive, shaped by her years in the company. She enjoys cute things, overpriced pastries, 90s boy bands, and gives off an unmarried wine auntie vibe despite being very, very married.
